Fusion is organised and run by 4 Core Leaders. These leaders are all in Church leadership and fully believe in the vision and aim of Fusion. As well as these 4 core leaders, we also have a variety of youth leaders mostly aged around early 20's. These are people from each Church who organise and run our 'Fused' youth events.

Phil Harding

Phil Harding is Pastor of Cradley Baptist Church.

Andy Hodson

Andy is married to Isobel and has three girls, Sophie, Chloe and Bethany. Andy is a full time paid elder at Crestwood Church. He is new to leadership as an elder, but has been active in Christian ministry for the past 10 years. He is from a Brethren background having godly parents who were keen to bring him up loving the word of God. From there Andy went to Oldswinford Christian fellowship under the leadership of Dr Tony Stone, and spent 5 years learning about evangelism and mission. Andy became a UK director of Emmanuel Missions in Zimbabwe as well as starting a youth ministry called "The Edge" which he led for 10 years. Andy worked part time with a Christian organisation called Reach UK, which involved pioneering youth clubs and itinerant preaching, having preached in Africa, Canada and Europe as well as the UK. Andy worked as a Landscape Gardening for over 15 years, before working full time with Crestwood. He was employed part time with Wall Heath Evangelical Free Church to pioneer the church plant. Since Crestwoods independence he has been on the leadership team there.

Ed McGirr

is originally from San Diego CA, USA and is married to Anita who is originally from London. They have two great children Nathanael and Rachel. Ed was not raised in a Christian home and knew little to nothing of God and the Bible until he surrendered his life to Jesus at the age of 21. In his commitment to follow God wherever He will lead, Ed moved to Denver CO and in 1990 joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) an international – interdenominational Christian organisation. Through out the 90's Ed travelled around North America and the UK teaching & training Christians and sharing God's love with those who don't know God personally. In 2000, the family left Denver to become Youth Pastor in Leighton Buzzard, England. Ed and Anita knew God had lead them to the UK to Pastor a church and in 2004 God brought them to Lower Gornal to Pastor St Paul’s Church.

Alan Burns

is Pastor of Wall Heath Evangelical Free Church.

David Brown

heads up the youth work at the Straits Church.
