Wall Heath Evangelical Free Church (WHEFC) was formed in 1949 in the house of some local Christians. From the beginning its aim was to provide a gospel focussed, Bible centred Christian group for our community. Almost 60 years have passed, and we now have our own purpose-built building, but the same commitments drive WHEFC today.

We are a lively and active group of Christians meeting at 81 Enville Road. We run a wide variety of meetings, clubs and groups for all ages every week and each is an expression of our core commitment to live our lives shaped by the gospel and to lead others to God through Jesus.

We are a part of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC, a nationwide association); and locally we are a core member of the Fusion Network. We are a conservative evangelical church, but contemporary in our lifestyle, using all means to bring the light of the gospel to our neighbourhood. We major on solid Biblical teaching, being a friendly and supportive community of Christians and emphasising every member ministry.
